HAPPY BIRTHDAY 25

It's so unbelievable to have to spend this day without you. Today is your 25th birthday, and the first one I have to spend without you texting me or calling me. We usually celebrated our birthdays together, or at least blessed each other laughs and smiles. I can remember like yesterday holding you in my arms as you came into this world so close to my own birthday. For a mother, it's the one thing you never wish to bear, welcoming your child into the world then putting them to rest as they leave. This cold world did all it could to take you away from me. But you are never forgotten, nor are you lost. For under His wings did you find refuge, His shield of truth now your protection.
